Hands on EMC engineering intern - Northvolt Systems

We are looking for a driven intern that is studying or recently graduated an engineering degree to join our team. The person we are seeking is comfortable with independent work and getting things done with, a strong interest in Electromagnetic compatibility to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. You will be part of our electronics engineering team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be hands on working with technical engineering problems and solutions in future battery systems solutions.

About the internship
The internship will be practical and on-site at the Northvolt systems electronics lab. You will be working with Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electronics, assisting in performing/development inhouse testing in close cooperation with the design and systems teams.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Iterate on work and maintenance instructions.
  • Design and improve on auxiliary equipment.
  • Design and verify RF characterization standards for components and filters.
  • Perform inhouse EMC tests.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Testing and laboratory skills, generation of test reports.
  • Experience with spectrum analyser, oscilloscope and other measurement equipment
  • EMC or RF experience or interest
  • Data Analysis
  • Problem solving, engineer mindset
  • Detail oriented
  • Interest or experience in circuit design and soldering.
  • A MSc or BSc degree in electronics engineering
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
