Intermediate UI/UX Specialist

Sword Services Greece is seeking to recruit energetic individuals to join our team in Malta as Intermediate UI/UX Specialist. The successful candidates will work in a multicultural environment supporting our core business in large Information Systems for the European Commission.
What you will do...
The individual is expected to lead and/or contribute in any and all of the following areas related to the profile:
- UI/UX Analysis and design;
- UI/UX Coding;
- User Flows;
- Testing and deployment;
- Documentation;
- New Features, Bug Fixing and Improvements Implementation.
What is your experience...
- 5+ years of experience as UI/UX Specialist;
- BSc/MSc in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field;
- Experience in CSS/CSS3 (SASS, Bootstrap 4);
- Proficient with wireframing and high-fidelity mockups;
- Create wireframes with Figma (preferably) or any other similar tool (e.g., Balsamiq);
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes with Figma (preferably) or any similar tool;
- Basic understanding of how HTML templates are generated;
- Basic understanding of JavaScript (JQuery);
- Convert mockups to HTML/CSS prototypes;
- Plan and conduct user interviews;
- Creation of graphics and visuals using Adobe Suite;
- Proven experience (e.g.: already published work, design material of past work, etc.) will be asked.
- experience in creating a single and identifiable look and feel for applications across the board of an organisation.
Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:
- Solid experience with a Scrum team;
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop;
- Convert mockups to Angular/React prototypes.

- Ability to work effectively & efficiently with various diverse work teams (Development, Testing and Project Management).
