We are looking for a dedicated and driven intern to support us in contributing to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Tools & Products team based in Stockholm, Skellefteå, Västerås, or remote. By joining us, you will be a key player in supporting the agility of Northvolt employees, enhancing their productivity through digital tools and therefore contribute to building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.

About the job

We are looking for you who have a passion for user productivity, working agile, and thrives while analyzing and reviewing current processes of different teams in Atlassian and proposes potential technical improvements according to best practices.

Atlassian has lots of innovative products - from administering an agile team's work processes to incident and case management to building and maintaining products. The products have been widespread in our organization and therefore we need more product specialists.

The products of Atlassian are created to be adapted for specific areas of usage, processes, and systems. We are looking for candidates who are interested in working with each product adaptations through specific configurations, by helping our Northvolt teams make use of Atlassian products optimally. That is done by using your previous experience or training in, for example: technical support (2nd line), system administration, computer science or other experience from the tech field that may be relevant. To excel in this role you need to have curiosity and interest about Atlassian's products and then use your knowledge in connection with your willingness to listen to other teams' needs to find out how you can best solve challenges they have in regards to their Atlassian project, helpdesk, etc.

We are looking for you who:

  • Is eager to work in the technical communication and collaboration field - loves connecting people, processes, and technology.
  • Is passionate in driving productivity and maximizing the value delivered to users with tooling & services through defined strategy, innovation, structured communication, implementation, adoption, integration, and automation.
  • Is experienced in or eager to learn the Atlassian Stack (Confluence, Jira, Jira Service Desk + apps), AWS, Azure AD, HRIS, and LMS,
  • Is passionate about productivity & systematizing processes,
  • Knows the value of master data and centralized systems,
  • Believes in the power of low-code/no-code,
  • Thrives in lean methods and how they are presented in connected/managed services,
  • Believes in knowledge sharing and is a self-service evangelist

About the team

The Tools & Products team in IT focuses on developing in-house custom solutions in order to enhance productivity - with a lean on process automation and workflow optimization. The team aims to increase agility across the organization by rapidly building minor-effort apps that modernize processes and solve challenges at Northvolt, by optimizing tools and applications to find ways of removing cognitive load of our engineers, office, manufacturing and management users, while they perform their day to day activities.

The TP team interacts and gathers requirements from virtually every part of the company, to later on convert these requirements into feasible solutions that directly help in enhancing the productivity of teams. This is either done through the existing tool stack that we work and build upon, or through new developments, resulting in solutions that range from a cloud-based web application to track information exchange and revisions with our customers to in-house custom dashboards and automation flows that enable fluid information delivery and scaled integrations to our systems.
