Business Sweden is recruiting the Asia Sales Manager on behalf of a Swedish tech company based in Taipei.
As an Asia Sales Manager, you are responsible for all sales in Taiwan and also Asia region. You will work closely with our customers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to ensure mutual business success and long-term business growth.
Working closely with current distributors and retailers for B to B in Taiwan/Asia to maintain relations and grow sales revenue.
Business opportunities development by identifying new business opportunities and generate new sales revenue in Taiwan and supporting existing / identifying new distributors in Asia.
Defining the sales and pricing strategy for each country across the region in order to maximize sales within the boundaries of profitability targets.
Work with the team to provide specifications and quotes to prospective distributors/clients.
Performing customer needs assessments and solution finding sessions and work with the team to providing responses for product and technical requests
Budget responsibility for sales and your operational costs for sales activities.
Annual budget achievement: To meet annual target setting and maximize biz development agreed with management.
Providing pre- and post-sales support to your sales channels in Taiwan/Asia.
Requesting and coordinating resources internally required to support the business.
Participating at conferences, tradeshows and other events as required.
Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company products, function, features and benefits.
Getting associated with user groups, industry groups, etc.
Strong experience in selling IT solutions to B2B clients using various channels (direct/indirect) .
Successful track record in signing deals in the range of USD 5-50M
About 10 years' experience in total and at least 5 years in international sales experience
Fluency in Mandarin and English
Fluency in Japanese is a plus
Autonomous personality who loves to travel and sell in an international context, and understands inter-cultural business
But still a team player able to build a true team spirit at the Taiwan office and interact with corporate resources.
Previous management experience (nice to have)
Knowledge of the Retail environment (food, non-food) and in-store processes
