Sword Services Greece is seeking to recruit energetic individuals to join our international development team in Malta as .NET/SharePoint Developer. The successful candidates will work in a multicultural environment supporting our core business in large Information Systems for the European Commission.
What you will do...
- Lead the maintenance and improvement of currently developed features for Mission Management (MiMa) tool such as:
- Improvement of the workflows, features, and bug fixing;
- UI improvements;
- Coding improvements following best practices;
- Integration with other EU organizations' applications.
- Lead the maintenance/developments of new reports for MiMa;
- Maintain all the technical documentation in regards the maintenance of MiMA tool;
- Be involved in requirement gathering meetings and training sessions for final users;
- Work on integrations with other systems such as eHR and SYSPER;
- Performance of any other activities in the scope of maintenance, implementation and bug fixing for .Net and SharePoint based applications.
- Lead the maintenance and improvement of C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 applications:
- Improvement of the workflows, features and bug fixing;
- Coding improvements following best practices;
- Familiarity with Security Updates, Integration, 3rd Party Library Maintenance, Migration to SharePoint 2019
What is your experience...
- 6 years of relevant professional experience;
- 6 years of experience in development of .NET framework and Sharepoint;
- Strong experience in software development in .NET framework, and for SharePoint 2013 and 2019;
- Experience with SQL server database structures, T-SQL, programming using SQL Server stored procedures, and development of SSIS packages;
- Good understanding of SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management;
- Shell, as well as the different out of the box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services and SharePoint Designer;
- Demonstrated experience translating a final design into a finished web presence;
- Experience with maintenance of the Atlassian suite of applications;
- Experience in developing, consuming and securing RESTful web APIs;
- Experience in web development and web design, including JSON, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS;
- Capacity to code in PHP and JavaScript for Drupal tailoring and specific; functionality will be considered an asset;
- Experience on SharePoint Online will be considered an asset;
- Experience on Azure will be considered an asset;
- Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
