ABOUT THE ROLE

At Digital Banking we are looking for a Product Manager for our front & onboarding area. You will be responsible for setting the long-term strategic agenda for development of the front and onboarding solutions and at the same time act on tactical and operational level in dialogues with our bank customers (to define processes and detailed requirements) and with developers, when prioritizing development and to help understand business requirements and specifications. You will also be responsible for setting the framework for the business-related tests and perform some testing.

Digital Banking’s front and onboarding solutions are rather customized, and you will design and deliver the solutions in close collaboration with the client. You will ensure swift and frequent iterations with the client enabled by significant presence on the client’s premises and/or digitally and thereby ensure a flow of information upon which Banqsoft can act proactively and agile towards current and potential clients.

The solutions you propose to our clients will be based on the standard front & onboarding products you are responsible for, and as such, the purpose is to secure that the product portfolio also meet its objectives in a cost-effective way. This is achieved through cooperation throughout all levels and parts of the organization.

What will you be doing?

20-40% of your time is expected to be spent supporting the clients with specification work, process design, testing and configuration, e.g. as part of pre-studies or in delivery projects and you will participate in writing tenders

You will:

  • Be responsible for the strategic as well as tactical and operational product road map for the Front & Onboarding area in Digital Banking,
  • Define the product processes and setup the compliance framework in close collaboration with system architects and information security officers.
  • Design the user experience, create customer journeys and process descriptions that for the basis for features and test cases
  • Prioritize development (epics, features, stories etc) and act as the liaison between customers and developers
  • To some extent perform customer specific business tests
  • Engage in sales processes and participate in project deliveries
  • Manage the relationship with multiple stakeholders and customers.

ABOUT YOU

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You are genuinely interested in our bank customers’ business, and particularly the customer onboarding area (application processes, credit scoring etc). You have experience from working with business process design, business architecture, process optimization and/or software development.
  • You have solid commercial understanding and experience from participating in tender processes.
  • You have experience from Banqsoft’s View21 product family is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • You understand customer needs and their business drivers and you are able to merge customer needs and domain knowledge into well scoped deliveries and product design.
  • You have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills and work naturally with all people, regardless of role and experience.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with financial products, preferably in a product owner role, as business analyst/consultant, credit officer or similar.
  • As a person, you thrive working in teams and like juggling both strategic issues as well as detailed tasks.
