Manufacturing of Battery Cells requires a high level of cleanliness of the manufacturing environment and process. This is accomplished with the use of controlled environments over the manufacturing process, specially designed equipment and strict cleaning routines of the machines and the areas.
The controlled environments can be clean & dry rooms (for the critical process steps) but also other high cleanliness graded rooms. Monitoring and validation of these areas, equipment and activities is critical for the production of a safe and high quality product.
About the job
The role of Technical Cleanliness Expert is to establish a common standard of technical cleanliness to all the facilities of Northvolt, from the design phase of the facilities and the processes to the long term monitoring. Among other responsibilities, the Technical Cleanliness and Cleanroom Expert will audit and support the different departments and collaborate with Customer and Supplier Quality Engineers to meet the requirements of Northvolt customers and lay down clear requirements to our suppliers on regards to technical cleanliness.
About the team
This key role is within Northvolt's central quality team. The team consists of various experts within the broad area of quality, who are all working on improving the quality structure, ways of working and competence levels across all of Northolt's entities. The team is today split between the Stockholm and the Västerås location, but individuals can be based in any of Northvolts locations. Travels are required in line with business needs.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Performs trainings regarding technical cleanliness and raises concern regarding technical cleanliness company wide
Communicates the objectives status and deviations to Management
