Joining the EU institutions Teams at Capgemini Invent means you’ll be joining a multicultural team that values pro-activity and a business-oriented mindset. Our EU consultants are collaborative, diligent and are united with their passion of seeing the bigger (EU) picture. You also have no problem with taking part in several cross-border initiatives within Capgemini Invent, aiding colleagues from across our offices in the EU

WE WANT YOU TO HAVE:

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following topics: EU policy monitoring, impact assessment and evaluation, conducting (foresight) studies and proposal writing
  • A network of clients within EU institutions
  • Experience withing one of the EU institutions or within an academic setting is not required but greatly appreciated
  • Strong core consulting skills, including meeting and workshop development and management, deck writing, storyboarding, inductive / deductive reasoning, client interviewing and issue analysis
  • Strong presence with good relationship-building and interpersonal skills combined with strong personal and professional values

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

An appropriate Master’s degree is required, an advanced degree in European Affairs is not required but appreciated.

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Demonstrate strong consulting and advisory skillset including analytical capabilities, ability to synthesize content and translate it into sound recommendations and deliverables
  • Pro-active team player, that is also able to take lead
  • Mastery of PowerPoint, Excel, and new forms of delivery
  • Able to mentor and coach others to deliver quality results and promote others' professional development
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Dutch and/or French

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • As member of our EU instructions team, you will take up the role a leading impact assessments, evaluation and studies for client in the EU institutions. Experience within a specific topic is welcome but not mandatory
  • Keeping track of key policy areas, and drafting analyses to benefit our clientele
  • Actively partake in proposal writing and aiding where needed on project management
  • Help build our team: both from an internal (advertising our team) as from an external point of view
