We are looking for people with an exceptional drive and analytical mindset to be key players in our Finance team as we continue to grow. The Finance team is crucial in improving existing processes and establishing new ones within budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. In April 2019, Upsales became listed on Nasdaq First North, and as a member of the Finance team, you will be involved in working with interim reports to the stock market and compliance with stock market regulations.

The opportunity

You will be an essential part of our finance team and work closely with our Chief Financial Officer. You need to be a fast learner, a good communicator and have an excellent sense of structure. You will be a part of all financial processes and thus get a good knowledge of running the finance department at a listed tech company.

As a junior business controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:

  • Accounts receivables

  • Accounts payables

  • Improving internal processes throughout the whole organisation

  • Analyse business/financial data and help identify potential improvements

  • The monthly financial closing process

  • Assist our CFO with interim reports

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

  • You studied Business Administration, Finance or an equivalent field (higher education)

  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office package (Excel) and G Suite (Sheets)

  • You are fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as well as comfortable working in English

  • You have strong analytical and numerical skills and feel comfortable handling and analysing a large amount of data
