Marketing business function is responsible for guiding prospects & customers throughout their journey with Basware. Through providing thought leading insights, practical advice and a roadmap for automation, in partnership with our Sales function, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions. Leveraging industry leading marketing platforms including Hubspot, LeadForensics and many more, we activate multi-channel marketing programs to help prospects get informed, build their business case, select the right-fit solutions, and ensure our customers get the most value from their Basware solutions.

Based at the Amsterdam office, the Senior Manager, Business Development Performance is responsible for leading the performance of the global BDR function at Basware, ensuring the right working processes, daily and weekly practices etc. to drive pipeline generation. The role includes optimising the team set-up and working processes, supporting recruitment, training the BDR team in all things operational, but also coaching the BDRs on the skills and techniques to deliver the outcomes required. In this role you will be ensuring continuous development, as well as ensuring the right tools are in place to maximise effectiveness. The Senior Manager will be part of the global Demand Generation team, reporting into the VP, Global Demand Generation, and will also partner with Sales leaders to discuss and optimise pipeline generation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a key role in helping to establish and embed the global BDR practice at Basware, implementing global processes, performance metrics and KPIs, and driving pipeline growth
  • Manage and coach team of BDRs, establishing a winning culture and day-to-day activities, tempo and rituals which drive success
  • Help identify areas to grow the team to meet the future demand generation needs of the market
  • Provide market feedback and recommendations to influence marketing strategy and tactics and generate more effective campaigns
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure alignment with sales teams and maintenance of lead handling discipline amongst account executives
  • Develop on-boarding and continuous training programs for BDRs
  • Ensure right tools are in place to maximise effectiveness

Skills & Requirements

  • Track record of success as a BDR Manager or Team Leader within an Enterprise selling environment, ideally in a global SaaS company
  • Excellent understanding of best practices, processes and daily rituals which drive outstanding BDR performance and the ability to implement these in a team setting
  • Experience with working in an international environment driving demand generation across multiple territories
  • Excellent team management skills, ability to drive day-to-day performance of remote and on-site team members and to keep them motivated and focused
  • Experience in successfully establishing new ways of working in a global enterprise setting
  • Ability to collaborate with and hold own against senior stakeholders from sales and marketing
  • Proficiency in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot preferred
  • Fluency in English is required
