Northvolt’s Performance & Life (P&L) division is looking for highly passionate interns to join the company’s mission to enable quality testing of Northvolt’s latest generation
During this internship, you will play a key role in supporting your designated test team
by applying your engineering aptitude towards delivering high quality test data. You will participate in critical areas of cell testing by executing daily test operations. A core responsibility would be to operate and supervise a range of industrial test equipment and to facilitate all the tasks associated with testing. This is your chance to start your career in the energy storage industry!
As a testing team, a candidate with an understanding of working and cooperating within a multicultural cross-functioning environment would be preferred. Northvolt as a company is looking for an enthusiasm towards developing their experience with lithium ion batteries as well as industrial scale testing. As an intern, you would need to execute work with a high standard of quality, comfortable taking ownership of delegated tasks and approach any issue with a positive attitude. Support in all practical facility tasks of the testing team.
Operate and monitor test equipment
Handling lithium cells
Mounting and dis-mounting cells from the test equipment and their
Preparing and ensuring reliable electrical connections.
Supporting the testing team documentation.
Collect and ensure that various stakeholders receive test data.
Bring your insights to develop the team.
Gain insight into Li-ion battery technology and various testing methodologies
Apply with CV and all the necessary information.
Internship Timeline: Up to 6 months of internship is preferred, but can be discussed;
You will be compensated monthly. Planned starting date is as soon as possible.
Bachelor or above degree within Electrochemical, Material or Electrical field``would be a plus
Academic or Practical knowledgeable in test design and setup. Experience with Li-Ion batteries and battery testing would be considered to be an advantage.
Good structured organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
Excellent oral English skills as well as written skills.
Quick learner and capable of independently driving tasks to the end.
Capable of working in fast paced environment with a proactive attitude.
