The writer will contribute to the development and editing of digital content. The writer has excellent English language skills and proven editing experience, as well as the ability to take specialized financial content and make it easy to understand for a non-financial audience. The writer will have experience writing and editing for other digital media, such as digital magazines, videos, and social media.
The writer will also support members of the Web Content unit in tasks related to project coordination, such as:
following up with relevant project stakeholders
taking notes at meetings to ensure that all unit members are kept informed and aware of tasks and developments
coordinate the organization of meetings to ensure website projects are progressing and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and implement assignments in the areas of websites, web pages and digital content.
Drive organic traffic by writing SEO optimized content for the website.
Ensure grammatical accuracy of text prior to production.
Review text once it has been included in a web project.
Collaborate with relevant colleagues to understand objectives, develop solutions and execute projects effectively
Coordinate, track, and schedule meetings to move web projects forward.
Contribute to the timely delivery of web projects
Develop and implement initiatives, including new channels, partnerships and technologies, to ensure that all content produced by the Communications department reaches the widest possible digital audience
Write content for several digital channels and audiences.
Contribute to the development of the overall communications strategy as a member of the publications division.
Work with other departments and communications teams to multiply the impact of online editorial work
Skills & Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a communications environment.
Excellent writing skills in English
Experience in web communications / web agency
Proficiency in software such as Word and Excel
Good organizational skills
Enjoys working in a small team, communicating openly and showing initiative
Basic photo editing skills a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
