MEKO (former Mekonomen group) consists of the leading car service chains in northern Europe with proprietary wholesale operations, as well as own and affiliated stores and workshops. The program - what does the role involve
We're looking for the next generation of unique talents to join our new trainee program and our mobility journey.

MEKO talent Program is an international leadership development program in which we combine core business work practice with practical and theoretical strategy and give you the opportunity to build an extensive international network with colleagues in Northern Europe.

The program will involve 3-5 top talents spread across our Business Areas in Northern Europe. You will have the opportunity to experience several parts of our organization and work closely with the management team and leaders.

The 15-month long program is divided into three different blocks which are continuously combined with training and assignments at a strategic level. Your specific program will be adapted to your education, competence, and ambition as well as to where you are aiming in the organization.

We offer you
15 intense and exciting months during which you get a holistic view of our business and build a network to take on the future. You will have the opportunity to work internationally and contribute to develop the industry.

Throughout the program, you will learn about our different businesses and concepts, as well as our unbeatable logistics organizations and operations. You will do deep dives into some specific areas, and you will also attend several training sessions where you will meet other program participants as well as internal talents.

As a trainee, you will receive a structured training plan for your personal development throughout the program. Strategic thinking, communication, financial skills, leadership, and creativity are among the topics covered in the training.

Skills & Requirements

What you need to qualify

  • You are most important - your attitude, your mindset, and your will!

  • University degree or similar in the field of administration, finance, IT, Engineering, Marketing, International Business Management or similar.

  • A genuine interest in business processes, digitalization, collaboration, and teamwork to solve business challenges.

  • You have a maximum of two years' experience of working in a professional environment and now want the opportunity to perform and develop.

  • You are fluent in at least English and one of Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish.

  • Foreign study experience is an advantage.

You are curious, committed, willing to try new things and learn. You have good communication skills and the ambition to develop both yourself and our business. With a flexible approach, you can take on and adapt to new situations and focus on solutions. You can both lead and participate in the implementation and realization of the strategy. Working strategically and doing yourself are equally important to contribute to the business development.
