We are seeking a driven and truly engaged Project Manager with focus on telecom in the Nordics. You will be a part of a strong global organization focusing on mainly Engineering R&D Services where you will have the responsibility for the global portfolio offers for customers within telecom.
You will further develop our strong position in this area where we help our customers to transform their products and services.
Your role
You will work closely with our clients and teams to manage and deliver projects and work packages within the telecom industry. You will have direct ownership of the projects to secure that we offer our clients the best solutions and competence. You are also deeply motivated by coaching/mentoring the team members, making sure that their competence gets the best possible development.
Main responsibilities can include the following tasks:
End-to-end project and delivery management responsibility of the project
Ensure the projects are suitably resourced to execute contracted commitments
Lead and participate in the steering group with the client
Communicate to the team, the client and to Capgemini status, issues and opportunities in a balanced way, brokering/negotiating where conflicts arise
Coach, support & motivate the team members on a continuous basis
Prepare budget & forecasts, ensure invoices are timely, accurate and paid
Adherence to Corporate practices and principles (e.g. procurement rules, Security and Data Protection)
Maintain and extend Capgemini’s influence and reach within the client, together with Business Development, to generate add-on sales
Support business development & team development
The ideal candidate will have this background:
Relevant university degree within business and engineering
Min 5 years of experience Project Management or similar roles
Experience from R&D, Hardware/Software development projects within the Telecom domain
PMP and/or SAFe certification is a plus
Proven success in Project Management
Analytical and problem-solving skills and time management skills
