Reports to: Global Online & Digital Sales Director

Location: Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London

Working pattern: Flexible remote working up to three days per week

Department: Group Sales

Salary range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

General Summary

In this sales role, the successful candidate will work across both the adult and children’s publishing lists as well as our new trade division. The role will work closely with marketing, publicity and editorial as well as the wider trade sales team. This is a customer facing role and could be a fantastic next step for someone currently in an assistant role looking to move up.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of key online retail accounts
  • Regular sales reporting; keeping the company up to date on promotional activity
  • Monitor the market and suggest new product opportunities
  • Provide feedback for acquisitions as required
  • To experiment and analyse price activity on eBooks and report best commercial recommendations
  • Ability to liaise with any issues in relation to supply chain management
  • Build strong working relationships with the publishing teams and assist with developing plans to drive strategy forward from a sales perspective
  • Regular meeting attendance; represent the online point of view at meetings
