Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the overall growth of the UK business, with a focus on enabling channel partners technically, supporting end user engagements, and pre-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take leadership of the development of WithSecure’s UK technical excellence
  • Face to Face meetings with technical stakeholders with both Customers and Partners where required, for Pre-Sales and Consultations.
  • Demonstrate WithSecure solutions to Partners and End Users
  • Take the lead on POC’s where applicable in order to gain a ‘technical win’
  • Work closely with internal departments such as marketing and product management on the development of solution ‘go to market’ messaging
  • Recognise problems and quickly react to changes from Partners and End Users
  • Communicate and information transfer within the department and to all relevant stakeholders
  • Produce high standards of presentations for Partners, Resellers and End Users and for external events (Partner Days, Exhibitions, seminars, Webinars, etc.)
  • Ongoing enablement of internal sales teams to further educate on WithSecure technologies and wider cyber security knowledge transfer
  • Assist Channel Managers with acquisition of, and development of, channel partners on an ongoing basis, to support growth of the UK channel
  • Develop technical stakeholder relationships within Partners and End Users, also identifying expansion opportunities

What are we looking for?

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and desire to support growth of net new customer base in the mid market, also through channel acquisition and development
  • Relationship skills for establishing relationships with the right technical stakeholders in both end customers and channel partners
  • Strong understanding of cyber security technologies, including Endpoint security, detection and response, vulnerability management, email security.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Bonus points

  • Experience of developing Managed Security Services offerings with channel partners
  • Good understanding of the UK Cyber Security Channel
  • Good understanding of the Cyber Security marketplace
  • Knowledge of Cyber based accreditations and regulations

This is a remote working position, with an expectation to be in the office as required (1-2 days per week), office location being London.
