Role scope:

We are looking for an experienced Presales Architect with a track record in engaging with clients to understand their business, shape winning proposals and creating solutions for high-value technical consultancy and analytics solutions. You will shape and drive sales opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, fulfilling our clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations. Depending on the opportunities, your activities will include business analysis, requirements capture, solution design, proposal writing, etc.

  • Analyze, architect and estimate solutions to Capgemini opportunities, are the key activities for this role;

  • Act as a trusted advisor and guide customers towards solutions that have the greatest likelihood of long-term success;

  • Work closely with bid managers, sales, project managers, technical experts, and subject matter experts to develop winning bid strategies;

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex technical systems and processes, with the ability to work with senior technical staff to help analyze and architect the technical solutions.

Our projects tend to involve complex, consultative sales, so you will need to be comfortable talking to both clients and internal technical teams and use strong influencing skills to ensure we shape the right solutions for our clients.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in delivering pre-sales activities for an IT System Integrator. This could be from a technical project management, solution architect, or dedicated pre-sales position;

  • Experience of leading technical discussions with prospective customers and partners;

  • Experience in Consulting and Program Management is a plus;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders from across the business, including both technical experts and business leaders, to co-develop client proposals;

  • Knowledge of the key concepts of a broad range of technologies, data science techniques and software development, including how these can be used to solve real industry challenges;

  • The ability to drive technology-intensive conversations with clients and colleagues at all levels and act as a bridge to explain and make technology relevant to non-technical stakeholders;

  • Experience in understanding user needs through workshops, interviews, requirements analysis & process mapping and using this to shape tailored solutions, business cases and roadmaps;

  • Consistent proven achievement against goals or targets;

  • Understands operational cadence in their specific areas;

  • Presents themselves in a professional manner, being a representative of their organization.
