We are looking for an outstanding and experienced legal professional, with legal, legal assistant and/or paralegal background, to support Northvolt´s legal and finance teams.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with Legal and Finance to establish, maintain, and manage data rooms.
  • Contracts management, signature and collection across the corporate group.
  • Lead on coordinating and completing conditions precedent and know-your-customer processes in relation to new corporate transactions.
  • Lead on ongoing corporate reporting, filing and other company maintenance requirements.
  • Work with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, HR, Strategy, Communications, and other teams to help out and synchronise work streams.
  • Support the management of external stakeholders such as the Investors, Financial institutions and other Policy driven organizations.
  • Special projects as assigned.

The Junior Legal Counsel/Paralegal plays a critical role ensuring the success of strategically important transactions with the finance and legal teams. You will be an integral part of the deal team, with opportunities for growth and development to expand the scope of the role. You will also be responsible for anticipating the needs of the transaction teams and will with discretion handle confidential and critical details.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • 5+ years of experience working at a senior level in a fast-paced. environment/company, as a legal assistant or paralegal or 1+ year of experience working as a junior legal counsel.
  • You most probably come from a similar role, but most importantly, you have the instinct needed to provide great service, learn quickly, street smart and thrive on making this happen.
  • Project management experience.
  • Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Expertise in various commercial investor and/debt data rooms.
  • Excellent English written and oral skills.
  • Decisive and firm personality yet humble and easy going.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative.
  • Documented experience of exercising good judgment, discretion and confidentiality in all tasks.
  • Great communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with team members, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Experience from working in an international environment, with experience in an international law firm desirable.
  • Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines, excellent time management.
  • Strong organization skills and used to manage a range of activities simultaneously.
