We are looking for a dedicated/experienced/driven documentation engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate maintenance team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up our Technical administration team and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job

The work as a documentation engineer will consist of for example the following activities.

Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance according to agreements.
Confers with engineers, managers, customers, and others to prepare documents.
Submits project documentation to management for approval, and transmits approved documents to customer via our support systems

About the team
Technical administration team consist of 5 persons at the moment with different competences. Main purpose of the team is to support manufacturing and maintenance with information, documentation and support system.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility for document control in Manufacturing/maintenance together with other document engineers
  • Gather, structure, and implement documentation in various IT system to make it user friendly.
  • Secure quality of document for manufacturing
  • Interface with construction, process, automation, and other departments to gather and structure the technical documentation needed to support the manufacturing team.
  • Take the lead in developing and optimize documentation requirements.
  • Train others in documentation related topics.
  • Follow up on received documentation and implementation.
  • Assist other parties within maintenance with managing for example FBS structure and Asset management.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • A degree in engineering BSc/MSc or relevant University Degree
  • 5+ years working experience in document management
  • Excellent English written and oral skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
