The marketing business function is responsible for guiding prospects & customers throughout their journey with Basware. By providing thought-leading insights, practical advice, and a roadmap for automation, in partnership with our Sales function, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions. Leveraging industry-leading marketing platforms including Hubspot, LeadForensics, and many more, we activate multi-channel marketing programs to help prospects get informed, build their business case, select the right-fit solutions, and ensure our customers get the most value from their Basware solutions.

Basware is looking for a person who will help drive growth and success for our organization on digital platforms. This role is important as it is an integral part of the development, effectiveness, and management of our digital marketing channels as well as our social presence on B2B Platforms.

Job Duties

Basware is looking for a Paid Media Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our paid digital marketing channels, including paid search, display, and social media in line with our marketing strategy, Paid Media Specialist will be typically responsible for creating and optimizing paid media channels to support the digital marketing department and demand generation campaigns team in their growth goals. The paid media specialist will work closely alongside the internal B2B Media Planner.


  • Create, brief, and build digital marketing campaigns and content in channels alongside our paid media agency.
  • Manage the content creation, deployment, design, and execution of digital media campaigns across paid media in collaboration with other marketing teams and our paid media external agency.
  • Manage multi-language content variants in paid media channels.
  • Monitor the campaign delivery and follow-up during the campaign lifespan.
  • Act as a point of QA for internal paid media support and paid media tracking.
  • Good understanding of online ad campaign metrics and analysis, including CPM, CPC, CPA, and CTR advertising model.
  • Generating various daily/weekly/monthly delivery reports on campaign status.
  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing efforts.
  • Assisting demand generation and the market activation team in the formulation and execution of social media marketing strategies and paid campaigns.
  • Act as a bridge/point of contact between the wider marketing team, the B2B Media planner, and the external paid media Agency.
  • Be cognizant of each marketing initiative, and ensure they are aligned with wider corporate objectives.
  • Experience with Bing, Xing, Google ads, and LinkedIn ads is a must.
  • Profound knowledge of SEO, GA, and Hotjar, is an advantage.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Paid Media expert for at least 2-5 years.
  • Hubspot Experience is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the B2B market, the B2B buying cycle, and global audiences.
  • A proven track record of successful marketing campaigns for large budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with great analytical skills.
