As Marketing Analyst, you’ll be responsible for Develop and own relationships with your business partners across central, markets, data engineering and company leaders. • Be an advocate for the customer and help bring customer-centricity into analytics strategies. Partner with teams to help define strategies and tactics to improve the value and measurable impact of the customer experience. • Present findings and strategic recommendations with clarity and concision to business partners having varying degrees of data science fluency. Manage and prioritize requests from business partners and set realistic expectations. Transparently communicate about priorities on a regular basis. • Be a strong partner with data engineering teams on the data ecosystem and an advocate for the requirements of marketing and sales analysts • Partner with the martech platform teams in building a strong culture of experimentation across the company. Enhance the team’s abilities to report on performance, focus on impact, and provide transparency about critical analytics workstreams. Establish self-service systems and processes. • Hold a “big picture” view of Hurtigruten Group Companies. Identify ways to utilize our data to guide big strategic product decisions. • Develop appropriate measurement plans by partnering with SVP Marketing Operations to identifying and defining appropriate KPIs for a broad range of strategic marketing objectives (message delivery, media engagement, conversion/action)

Situated within Hurtigruten’s Marketing Operations Team. The Marketing Operations
Analytics Pricing & Promotions analyst enables company success with strategic recommendations,
decision support, insights, and data. The team member partners heavily with market & analyst
teams across Hurtigruten’s lines of business, marketing & ecommerce teams, and the IT engineering
team in order to accomplish their goals. They are skilled in providing strategic recommendations,
customer and marketing analytics, experimentation, data fluency and visualization, storytelling with
data, and modeling.

Expert with data analysis software, data query, and data visualization/ communication
• 5+ years of related experience with database marketing and analytics
• 5+ years of experience of extraction and manipulation (e.g. SQL) of both structured and
unstructured data
• 5+ years of experience using statistical analysis and other modeling techniques (e.g. Python,
• 5+ years with visualization programs (PowerBI preferred)
• 5+ years of experience with web-based analytical tools (Google Analytics preferred)
• 3+ years designing/executing/analyzing robust marketing tests (a/b, multivariate, etc.)
• 3+ years managing project teams
• Advanced knowledge of the principles, theories and best practices within analytics, general
business practices and procedures.
• BA/BS Degree in a quantitative field, business or marketing-related major required
• Must be able to prioritize which efforts will generate the most return, and to direct the
organization accordingly.
• Must be able to work toward collective goals while still respecting the contributions of the
