At Morrow Batteries our ambition is to develop and manufacture the world’s most cost-effective and sustainable battery cells. Our vision is to enable and accelerate the green energy transition through the production of sustainable batteries.
We are seeking dedicated Research Engineers & Scientists with a drive to play a critical role in realizing our goals and vision. Morrow is currently building a larger team to realise our efforts on the LNMO//C chemistry. Together, we will determine the key experiments to be conducted to optimize every single component in these cells. We do not do this alone, but in a strong collaboration with leading suppliers, customers, and research institutes.
Individual battery components do not make a battery in itself and consequently collaboration and the eagerness to learn about the remaining components is a requirement. So we are focusing on expanding our team with a variety of backgrounds listed below, you do not need to fulfil all the subsequently listed keywords:
LNMO, Electrolyte, High voltage cathode, Graphite, Separator, Binder, Conductive material, Upscaling, Fundamental Battery theory, Slurry mixing, Machine Leaning, Logististics, Supplier contact, Battery data analysis, Active material, Seperator, Advanced Electrochemical Analysis
These positions will, in the short term, offer no time in the Laboratories as the initial key success of these positions are based on data analysis and being able to communicate findings and decisions effectively to colleagues and partners.
The LNMO//C chemistry is applicable for electric vehicles, but at a fraction of the price of the batteries currently out there. Our aim is to compete with NMC in performance, but LFP in price. The battery is one of the more expensive parts of a car, so by realising this chemistry, electric vehicles will become cheaper, allowing it to enter a larger market segment. In other words, realising this chemistry will have a significant influence on the environment.
This is a great opportunity to shape the process from early days, whilst making a significant contribution to our sustainable future.
