We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering teams: Savings Lifecycle.
This team is responsible for the second largest product in Sievo: Savings Program Management. The team’s Product Manager, Service Designer, and Engineer Manager collaborate closely to build the product that would deliver business value to fortune 500 companies across the globe. The Product Manager is mostly responsible for the what, whereas the Engineering Manager is mostly responsible for the how.
As an Engineering Manager you will be contributing to our efforts to drive better product decisions, improve our technical operational efficiency, and enable the team to generate high impact outcomes. You are also expected to grow the team, both by recruiting new talent into the team and by coaching the team members to become better engineers.

Solving the how : Spend a considerable amount of time understanding the business domain and the use cases we want to solve. Carving the technical solutions and designing architecture in collaboration with the team members.
Ensuring that the team builds services with a high level of technical quality, security, reliability, and with good user experience.
Contributing to raise the bar in the team by driving best practices. This can mean for example automating repetitive work, better testing & QA processes, streamlining work processes and better documentation.
Expertise and interest in code reviews and software engineering.
Develop and manage the processes necessary to run the team effectively.
Aligning the team with the business goals of the product and Sievo.
Participate in the product development process from start to finish, from helping scope projects to measuring their success and iterating based on user feedback.
Provide visibility and transparency to the wider organization to ensure we are all on the same page and aware of what is coming and when.
Provide technical direction, coaching and leadership to the engineers in the team.
Recruit and develop key engineering talents and focus on motivating, inspiring, and empowering the team to achieve a high level of technical expertise, productivity, and efficiency.
Collaborate with your team in thinking through our challenges, both short and long term.
Active participation in enhancing our Sievo-wide engineering culture to be even better than today.
We're looking for someone who:

Has a good knowledge of modern cloud technologies.
Has experience working with modern web technologies such as React, Micro front ends, and Web components.
Has experience working with Microsoft technologies such as .Net, C#, and Azure.
Has experience working with Analytics tools, preferably Qlik Sense. We use Qlik Sense as our analytics platform.
