We are looking for a self motivated sales manager to join our North American team to grow our existing account base and provide support to the senior sales manager on our existing large scale accounts. This is the perfect role for someone looking to further their career in sales and the book/retail industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting senior sales manager on our larger accounts
  • Growing sales of existing accounts
  • Building and maintaining new business
  • All meeting preparation
  • Monitoring and maximizing sales opportunities within account base
  • Working with account portals and administrative tasks
  • Communicating weekly marketplace updates
  • Actively participating and contributing to our publishing program
  • Involved in budgeting process for account base
  • Engaging in regular sales analysis
  • Additional sales functions relating to account base

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of demonstrated sales experience. Book publishing industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task in an entrepreneurial setting, and efficiently manage time, priorities, and resources.
  • Friendly, courteous, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.
  • A high level of mathematical ability
  • Ability to analyze, model and interpret data
  • Methodical and logical approach
