About the job
Construction Engineering Manager (Mineral Facilities) will be responsible for ensuring the optimal building and utility design of a Northvolt Mineral Refining and Cell Recycling type facilities at the front end of the design process for all Northvolt factories.

M.Sc. or Chartered or Professional Engineer in the Mechanical, Process or Electrical engineering fields.
Minimum of 7 years experience in the design/engineering of heavy industrial, manufacturing, or chemical process facilities. Battery factory experience is ideal, but not required. Other facility types that are seen as relevant and welcome: oil and gas, mineral refining, pharmaceutical, food & beverage manufacturing, etc.
Have experience in multi-disciplinary engineering coordination, interfacing with construction and internal/external stakeholders
Experience working on international industrial projects and in multi-cultural environments.
Experience in commissioning and start-up of industrial facilities.
Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish
Familiarity with standard office and management software tools and platforms
Familiarity with CAD, BIM, and 3D modelling type software tools
Ability to lead a team through technical and planning challenges
