Meltwater is hiring a skilled web developer who will be responsible for managing our corporate websites. You will play an integral role in developing and executing web strategies that not only drive revenue, but also enrich the experience for visitors to our websites.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will execute on meaningful strategic iterations on our websites and web presence through our storytelling and design. We’re looking for a developer that enjoys working in a modern development environment and has a passion for the art of balancing design implementation with the data driven aspects of web analytics to take our marketing tech to the next level.

Our sites run on a modern tech stack - a React-based Next.js frontend on a headless CMS backend for content management on a managed CI deployment environment, very exciting as there are no archaic systems to deal with.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of the website - standardize process related to project management, deployments, and roadmap

  • Implement technical SEO best practices including content structure, tags and data cataloging

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to scope new webpages or section needs; ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs and carry it through to a polished, fully styled result

  • Build a library of scalable Prismic page templates to leverage in our marketing programs

  • Performance iteration - execute on A/B and multivariate testing to iterate on performance, user experience, conversions, and personalizations

  • Define processes and timely solutions for reported problems/bugs with the website

  • Improve our internal frameworks to drive consistency across multilingual sites

  • Monitor website KPIs to identify trends and areas of opportunity while analyzing user behavior

  • The occasional management of web hosting and DNS records

Qualifying portfolio including website samples is required.

Skills & Requirements

What You Have

  • 4+ years of experience contributing to enterprise-level, multilingual websites

  • Proven work experience with headless CMS and javascript frontends

  • Experience with React (Next.js or Gatsby a bonus!)

  • Deep expertise and with modern web applications and programming languages - HTML5, CSS3 (Sass), JavaScript, TypeScript, and API implementation

  • Experience scoping web tasks and projects from ideation to completion

  • Strong communicator with stakeholders on a global team

  • Familiarity in building standards compliant high performance responsive websites

  • Prior experience working with professional design teams
