We’re looking for a Business Manager to play a key role in WithSecure’s growth by driving demand within Enterprise organizations. If you want to accelerate your career into the exciting and innovative world of Cyber Security, then read on!

In this position you will be working directly with our Solution Consultants and wider technical and support teams to develop, nurture and convert new clients to our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offerings aka Countercept MDR and our wider offerings in the managed services space. As a Business Manager you’ll be critical to the long-term growth and success of WithSecure’s Solutions Business Unit.

Our Countercept MDR service is designed to counter Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) from state sponsored and sophisticated criminal groups, it detects and responds to compromise and attempted compromise across our clients’ IT estates. These techniques are often undetected by Anti-Virus solutions and other Anti-Malware software and therefore our service represents a significant step change within the industry. Importantly, we have some of the best people in the industry, helping clients to significantly increase their security posture.

We’re looking for a high caliber individual to join our team and help us with the explosive growth of MDR and managed services in the enterprise space by finding and closing net new WithSecure business. The role will be responsible for sales in assigned verticals in the US market, and collaboration with our other business units and functions within the Solutions business.

As a Business Manager we would like you to:

  • Generate early conversations and opportunities – driving demand within enterprise organizations
  • Identify selected strategic prospect list and work to qualify, develop and build credibility within these organizations. Undertake this objective using a consistent and methodical approach on a day to day basis. Demonstrate constant progress.
  • Move prospects through the sales process, identifying the key stakeholders while mapping value and the business case.
  • Develop, understand and match key drivers within the prospect business with likely threat actors (attackers) and any geopolitical motivation.
  • Have a day to day interest in geo-political developments globally, and eventually show that you are able to understand how a political event would be likely to decrease/increase the likelihood of attack against certain organizations (WithSecure will provide training).
  • Understand the WithSecure Countercept value proposition and be able to tailor this in-line with prospect requirements.
  • Consistently review performance against target. Forecasting personal sales and monitoring personal performance against targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, whilst providing reporting.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Telemarketing for support to reaching your target prospect accounts.
  • Work closely and motivate other WithSecure business units to promote MDR and MSS both internally and externally.
  • Achieve the individual sales target set with the Sales VP.

As a successful Business Manager you will demonstrate:

  • The ability to articulate technical concepts into business insights that can be understood by executives.
  • The ability to open doors at the highest level in the assigned region.
  • An understanding of current geo-political knowledge (if possible to map to current cyber issues).
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience of selling specialist service-based infosec solutions.
  • A consistent and logical approach to time management and prioritization.
  • Commercial acumen and a strong customer focused approach.
  • You are a quick learner, intellectually curious and a problem solver.
  • You work well in an environment where micro-management is not part of the culture.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • Additionally a background in Challenger Sales will be an advantage.
