Job Description

Planhat is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join us on our journey as we are revolutionizing Customer Success. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards and are free of defects. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, develop test plans, and execute tests to validate software functionality. You will be a critical member of our software development team, working to ensure that our software meets the needs of our customers and delivers the best possible user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and software developers to develop test plans and strategies for software products.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that software is testable and meets quality standards.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to identify potential issues and ensure that products can handle the expected user load.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the software testing process to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and comprehensive.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products meet user needs and deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Communicate testing status, progress, and results to project stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, including manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools, such as Jest or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with performance and load testing is a plus.
