We are looking for an iOS Developer to join the Shared Products & Platforms App team
We are looking for an experienced software engineer focused on writing clean, quality code that scales. We love people who value feedback - both giving and receiving. You don’t need to be a programming rockstar, however - you need to be ready to become one with our band!
About the project and the team
The main focus in our team is creating next-generation mobile applications built for the most significant newspapers and smaller brands in both Norway and Sweden. Our apps have over one million monthly active users, and the main goal of our apps is to present rich media content - lists of news, articles with videos, galleries, podcasts and much more.
We are a team of four developers, a UX designer, a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager distributed in Stockholm and Kraków. In our daily work, we are implementing new features, collaborating with newspapers on our platform and maintaining apps that we already have in store.
We have a sibling Android team in Kraków that we work closely together with, and as we are a big team our ambition is to drive mobile communities in Schibsted by organising the internal conference for mobile developers. In order to boost our collaboration we are having coffee chats from time to time, where we like talking about hiking, bike riding, playing poker, analogue photography and much more!
Feel free to check out our apps:
