About the Position
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator, with experience organizing B2B presence at trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
Your primary area of responsibility will be to assist in the planning and execution of our physical and virtual events. In this capacity you will ensure that all marketing and logistics activities related to events flow smoothly and professionally.
You will deliver compelling experiences and engagement, contributing to lead generation and brand visibility. As time permits you will also support other marketing activities and projects, working closely with the marketing team members in Sweden and the USA.
This is a temporary role for one year (föräldravikariat 1 år, heltid). This role will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
You are passionate about executing great events. You are extremely well organized, with exceptional attention to detail. You enjoy the variety and pace of juggling multiple projects at the same time.
You are energetic, creative, and resourceful. You have a “can-do” attitude and just roll up your sleeves to get stuff done. You are not shy to share your own ideas and continuously innovate to improve what we do.
You are comfortable influencing others – from negotiating with vendors to driving people in our own organization to contribute to our event success. You know how to work in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn.
Maintain a rolling calendar of events and track information related to each event including goals, logistical details, budget, and results.
Coordinate with external vendors such as hotels, industry organizations, audio-visual providers, and printers.
Help negotiate event sponsorships.
Identify speaking opportunities at events.
Manage shipping, travel and accommodation logistics.

Location: Smart Eye AB, Headquarters (Gothenburg)
Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to build collaborative relationships across different teams, time zones and cultures.
Experience coordinating with external vendors a plus.
Fluency in English.
