Do you want to build the future of healthcare? Are you a professional with 2-10 years’ experience looking to take the next step in your career? KPMG management consulting, Strategy & Operations team, is looking for new team members with background within healthcare to join our team!

About us and the role

KPMG MC Strategy & Operations is growing and are now looking for persons with a strategic, yet pragmatic mindset committed to helping clients improve in their core business.

The traditional healthcare sector is facing major challenges due to an aging and growing population, rise in complex conditions and multimorbidity, increased costs and reduced tax base, etc. Many of our clients are undergoing strategic changes, e.g. establishing new business models, taking the next step in their digitalization journey, reviewing the resilience of their business or transforming to become truly patient-oriented, and our role is to guide the client in operationalizing their strategic choices to increase quality, efficiency and patient safety. This often involves assessing the value of different options, establishing new operating models, recommending how to proceed with new technology or how to re-design processes or ways of working. We are working with region directors, medical personnel, and support functions to create sustainable change for our clients, with support of a broad range of domestic and international experts and frameworks – as well as the capability to be innovative.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the ability and drive to help people and organizations grow. To be successful at KPMG it is important for you to be able to listen and truly understand the client’s situation to be able to engage in different strategic, tactical, and operational issues the client might be facing. The work consists of analyzing data, understanding the context, providing the correct recommendations and being part of the implementation.

We look to strengthen our team with people experienced in planning and delivering projects and leading both colleagues and clients. You might have worked at a management consulting firm before, addressed strategic client challenges and have both an analytical mindset and a just-do-it mentality, or you have hands on managed the same challenges in a hospital, med-tech company or in another healthcare organization.

We are a fairly new-established and tight team and we enjoy working cross- functional, we often team up with our colleagues from both other parts of the firm and external partners. You will play an active and important role of defining and shaping our future. We constantly learn from each other, and we also collaborate with our leading practitioners globally.
