Mission

• You will be part of our Agile TV Engineering team to bring recognized products and services to market, building the best TV experience, working closely with the product and development team (https://www.agile-tv.es/)

• Participate in the development of new products and evolution of the existing ones while understanding requirements and user stories for risk-based testing and influencing system design for reliability, performance, and testability.

• Collaborate in testing new features required to support frontend and backend modules and platform functionality and releases as well as investigate test failures in production, identify design flaws, and suggest potential solutions.

Your key daily tasks will be

• Design the sprint test strategy, prepare test cases for sprint stories, validate "Done" Stories, and register and notify bugs.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to accept the Story, enhance client understanding, prepare and review stories, participate in the definition of Acceptance Criteria (from which Test Scenarios can be generated), develop a better understanding of the Business Domain, and identify dependencies between stories.

• Work alongside developers to define test strategies for the stories, detect and report bugs, provide early feedback on stories, and offer suggestions for functional and usability improvements.

• With other QAs and the operations team: design and prepare the overall testing strategy, identify the most vital business scenarios and flows, help to know the health of deliverables, identify dependencies, support in testing non-functional requirements and maintain and refactor system tests (end-to-end).

You must have:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.

• Android/Apple devices testing experience.

• API management experience (i.e., Postman)

• Frontend testing experience.

• Test Plan management.

• Experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, .) and task management tools (JIRA, Planio, etc.)

• Project documentation management (release notes, functional specs, test plan).

• C1 Spanish and B2 English level or equivalent.

• This position requires to be currently residing and have a valid working permit in Spain.

It would be great if you have:

• Understanding of media/TV product and terminology (streaming, DRM, OTT, TDT, time shift).

• Familiar with Test plan tools and repositories.

• Knowledge with one or more of the following programming languages and related testing frameworks: Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Python.

• Experience in software development best practices, including optimization, documentation, testing and code quality metrics and tools.

• Expertise handling software repositories and the GIT version control.
