Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluates & improves manufacturing efficiencies by analyzing & planning workflow, space requirements, speed and equipment layout.
  • Create and updated machine specifications, documentation, and manufacturing instructions
  • Optimizes facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and manufacturing processes
  • Coordinate with all supporting functional areas in order to determine the best solution for the process and product to maintain the highest levels of quality
  • Provides support with troubleshooting, quality and maintenance to the production team

  • BSc or MSc degree within mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field (or comparable work experience)
  • Experience implementing practical production processes, comprehensively
  • Familiarity with battery module/pack manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing or other similar industries
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing line design and equipment selection
  • Knowledge of prototype integration, testing and design validation processes
  • Experience with LEAN tools and continuous improvement implementation
  • Very good command of English and Ukrainian and Polish language

About the company

Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.
