We are looking for KYC Analysts and KYC Advisors to join Gard’s new KYC Advisory Team.
The KYC Analysts and KYC Advisors play a central role in Gard’s defence against financial crime. The positions are based in Arendal and are unique opportunities for professional development.
As part of the KYC Advisory Team, you will be responsible for assessing and limiting Gard’s exposure to financial crimes and your work will contribute to continuous improvement of Gard’s KYC processes.
Key responsibilities for KYC Analysts:
Performing the due diligence process for Gard's clients, members, broker and other counterparties that are essential for our day to day operation.
Monitor changes in risk elements.
Manage the KYC process related to transactions.
Document and handle incoming KYC requests from primarily the claims and underwriting departments.
Monitoring our portfolio of customers.
Actively share knowledge and suggestions for improving processes and system support.
Understand how sustainability is an integral part of Gard’s efforts to prevent financial crime.
Understand and keep up to date on laws and regulations applicable to Gard's business so that these can be communicated in relation to KYC requests.
Additional responsibilities for KYC Advisors:
In depth and up to date understanding and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Contribute to raising the awareness in Gard by preparing and presenting on KYC related topics as part of the annual KYC training wheel.
Take part in projects and developmental work to improve system, processes and procedures to ensure Gard remains compliant with regulatory requirements to combat financial crime in all its forms
