The Salesforce Center of Excellence at Capgemini Switzerland is expanding its team to put in place a strong domestic foundation of consultants, architects, developers and business partners that will enable us to scale up our offerings across the Salesforce spectrum as well as our footprint in Switzerland, ultimately bringing the quality and credibility of one of the leading global integrators of Salesforce, to this promising and rapidly growing market.

As part of the Salesforce Center of Excellence, you will take on new solutions on a regular basis and collaborate with the rest of the team to bring value to our customers, leveraging both, a vast repository of Capgemini-Europe accelerated solutions as well as domestically designed and crafted ones.

What you can expect

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Working closely with clients to understand their business and their existing technologies
  • Using your knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C, web applications and integration techniques to design complete solutions for the integration, extension or enhancement of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C platform
  • Documenting solutions with a technical specification and diagrams that will stand as the reference to the development team for building the solution
  • Engaging with clients in a multi-day discovery meetings for the initial part of developing technical documentation
  • Updating technical documentation throughout the development cycle to capture the changes
  • Ensuring the proper hand-off to our support team prior to launch
  • Providing Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C subject matter expertise beyond the basic Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Developer certification
  • Sharing knowledge with the team and helping mentor newer developers
  • Staying abreast of web technologies and sharing new ideas and techniques that are relevant to the eCommerce space
  • Participating in internal process improvements to our software development life cycle
  • Being involved in Pre-Sales activities to ensure to continuous growth of the Commerce Cloud practice

What we expect from you


  • 3+ years of recent experience in eCommerce projects
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) implementation experience
  • Experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
  • Proficiency in managing the administration of the platform
  • Current developer certification in Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C or Demandware
  • Professional experience as an IT consultant or developer in a customer facing role
  • Familiarity with delivery methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Agile, Waterfall) and application lifecycle management
  • Ability to understand business and IT department requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with headless is an advantage
  • Fluency in English (additional knowledge of German or French is an advantage)
