THIS IS THE JOB

  • You will contribute to the development of engineering processes and methodology for architectural design following an MBSE approach
  • You will participate in the development of the engineering process, methodology and test tools for requirements management following an MBSE approach
  • You will support the development team (DBS + European initiatives) in terms of processes and methodology
  • You will report any obstacles in the methodology to the team and improve the current content
  • You will support the development of templates for deliverables
  • You will work in the Systems Engineering expert team that guides other teams with systems engineering, modelling and requirements expertise
  • You will help to improve the methods and guidance of the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to satisfy the stakeholder needs
  • You will work on methods on how to capture requirements in the MBSE model (beyond textural requirements) to enable the generation of specification documents directly from the model
  • You will drive the creation of concepts, presentations and overviews
  • You have the opportunity to contribute and implement your own ideas in our flexible environment

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in the rail sector is an advantage
  • SE / MBSE: having good knowledge on SE concepts and on the modern MBSE techniques and how to apply them is crucial. Knowledge on ISO 15288 is a plus
  • SysML: knowing the language and having a strong experience into systems modelling is crucial
  • Systems Architecting: having a strong experience in systems architecting techniques (trade-off analysis, ...) and architecture framework is crucial. Good knowledge of ISO 42010 is a plus
  • Knowledge of Capella/ARCADIA is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Deep understanding of model-based systems engineering principles and practices, including:
    • Process modelling
    • Requiremts engineering
    • Architectural frameworks
    • Variant and product line models
    • Fully conversant with SysML notation
    • Sound knowledge of ISO 15288 (Required)
    • Knowledge of architecture, trade-off analysis and special topics such as RAMS - CESAM (level 1) certification an advantage
