Job Description

This role is to provide technical support to clients across Taiwan. The successful candidate should preferably have 5 years o f experience in technical support, outstanding problem solving skills, technical knowledge and software engineering with basic programming skills. The candidate should be able to quickly learn new
systems and solutions and how to operate as platform in a partner eco system.


DUTIES AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for technical demonstration POC and pilot installations to clients
  • Work together with sales engineer and delivery manager to configure and adapt company solutions to customer needs
  • Provide support to clients after installations and perform investigations into customer’s issues and guide clients on how to solve them
  • Support delivery/project manager and sales engineer in engagement with new potential clients
  • Requirements to work or on call duties outside normal working hours in order to respond to urgent client incidents
  • Work or/and travel with colleagues in Taiwan, APAC as well as Europe

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years experience as technical support engineer (Service Level II preferred)
  • Knowledge in software, and computing, OS (Windows, Linux). Scripting, Object oriented languages and SQL, cloud-based experience is a bonus. Knowledge in JAVA Script is a plus
  • B.Sc in relevant engineering degree minimum, M.Sc preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid motorcycle or passenger car license
  • Experience in handling small pilot program to deliver solutions based on client's requests
  • Fluent in Chinese / Mandarin and working proficiency in English
