As Director of Marketing Operations at Mentimeter, you will be a part of the pioneering team to build a new function in the Marketing department.

The purpose of the new Marketing Operations function is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing department through technology, processes and data so that we can achieve our operational goals and get more communication out to users.

You are the glue that brings cohesion to marketing initiatives. You’re a technical marketer who takes pride in showing great attention to detail and organizational skills in your everyday work. You love creative problem solving. And most importantly, you enjoy helping your colleagues to perform their duties in smarter, more scalable ways.

What you will do!

  • Build a team of Operations specialists, Automation Managers, MarTech professionals (and dotted-line Marketing Analysts) who act as super users within respective fields.

  • Own Marketing Operational Reporting (Reporting & Analysis), System & Processes, Enablement

  • Responsible for improving the different steering models (for example OKRs) in marketing and making sure we work systematically with quantitative and qualitative insights.

  • Own forecasting and how we modell KPI’s in marketing to align with the goals and forecasting of Sales, Product and overarching Mentimeter goals

  • Own the MarTech and marketing ops roadmap and development, making sure that relevant tools are added that support the Marketing strategy. You will be responsible for describing the biggest integration issues that might be preventing lead generation and user acquisition.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from the Sales & Data department (especially leadership and Ops teams) - to identify and prioritize improvements to lead funnel definitions, scoring and sales hand-over processes, support data hygiene, and improve the customer experience

  • Design scalable ways of working to avoid excessive manhours, for example support the team in automating the production of repeat activities, document a workflow or build a template for a recurring process.

  • Operate strategically but also hands-on, when needed, to coordinate or drive key projects such as business cases or data enrichment projects from ax-to-loaf.

Skills & Requirements

Required experiences:

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Automation or Technical Project Management

  • A proven track record of leading leaders, for example in a project office, marketing function or a data team.

  • A passion for data analysis, A/B testing and value-adding insights

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Superb stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills (you will be working with many different functions and people)

  • A proven track record of taking strategic decisions and successfully executing on them in a fast moving environment

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience from SaaS

  • Experience from managing a portfolio of Marketing tech tools such as CDP (Segment, Bloomreach), CRM (Salesforce), MAP (Pardot, Hubspot, Braze) and ABX (DemandBase, 6sense)

  • Experience from managing advertising and campaign tools (AdTech, CMS, Hootsuite, Percolate, etc)

  • Ability to consult legal teams on the impact of digital marketing of data protection and privacy regulations

You will have support from:

  • A Central Data-team that embed Data Analyst and Data Scientist in Marketing to help with forecasting and deep analysis

You don't have to know Swedish (daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 40 different nationalities!

Right now, due to updates in Swedish migration law, it is hard for us to hire employees from outside EU in a way that makes it safe and risk free for you to relocate to Sweden and get a prolonged work permit. We make decisions case-by-case.
