We are looking for a Process Development or Sr. Process Development Engineer to work as part of our Wafer Process Development team in the R&D division. You will be mainly responsible on developing new wafer automated optical inspection (AOI) processes for current and next generation MEMS sensors. You will have a major role and responsibility in contributing to ensuring product quality in this assignment. You will be working in close collaboration with platform development teams in the R&D division and with our colleagues in Japan as well as with Product Quality/Product Quality Control and Equipment Control teams in the Operations division.
As a Process Development Engineer, your main task is to plan and conduct experiments targeting for ensuring capable and cost efficient processes for new product introduction as well as for implementing process improvements into production via Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process. Depending on your project management skills, in addition to participating, you would also plan and lead concept development/concept to platform/product ramp up/investment projects. Technology roadmaps guide our development work and you would participate in updating them. As an innovative person you would also recognize and define needs for process development and improvement projects in your technology area.
These qualities and skills support your success in the position:
As educational background you would hold a M.Sc., Ph.D. or D.Sc. in Material science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or in other technical discipline.
