What we do
We help our clients understand the market dynamics, identify Go-to-Market partners, appreciate the regulatory landscape, build the appropriate service and/or solution, and more generally we partner with our clients to shoulder them in their ambitious growth strategy in the U.S. We focus on impact businesses and engage in "Green Transition" programs.
What you'll be doing Day to day
Lead and deliver consulting projects that provide support to Swedish companies of all sizes and all industries in their international business development and expansion in the U.S.
Develop proposals and research solutions for market expansion, sales support, stakeholder analysis and/or operational support
Collaborate with the business development team
Independent client outreach; engage and drive client dialogues
Prospect and develop a customer book of business, while shaping differentiated value proposition for our clients
Represent Business Sweden as a trusted advisor, finding solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges in the U.S. market
Skills & Requirements
What we need from you
Background as a management consultant and relevant work experience for at least 3-5 Years
Degree in Business, Administration and/or Engineering
Previous experience working with management consulting or other advisory services with a focus in business development for consulting assignment
Proven experience consulting, project sales, and strong client service business acumen
Proven track record developing and executing deals with deep customer insight, strong negotiation and closing skills
Leadership experience from leading teams and an interest in developing and growing talents
Interaction with external stakeholders, such as government, private sector, and/or academia
A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
Ability to multitask by organizing multiple client dialogues and engagements at once, and seek out cross-functional engagement
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
Passionate, self-motivated, curious, and a positive "can do attitude"
Self-motivated and accountable team player and leader
A passion for sustainability and making an impact

Outstanding ability to build personal relations, empathy and trust
Knowledge of the Nordics, and proficiency in a Scandinavian language is a plus (while not required)
