The purpose of the global web content specialist role is to operate and develop HRG´s customer facing web site to ensure an on-brand digital experience optimized for leading the user through the booking journey. The role is responsible for that defined websites/web content within brands, products, destination and service content is relevant, updated and aligned with commercial goals. The role functions as team lead for HRN/HRX web editors.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Ensure that web content within dedicated area of responsibility (brands, destinations, products, services, campaigns, practical information) is aligned with brand identity and tone of voice, and aligned with own, earned and bought channels to deliver on HRGs commercial goals.
Monitor and measure site performance in order to identify sales opportunities and solutions, make recommendations and improve performance.
SEO optimization of content in area of responsibility, aligned with overall SEO strategy.
Use insight from relevant tools and resources to continuously optimize performance of dedicated area of responsibility.
Be the CoX for web content to deliver on global-local cooperation model and ensure local e-com resources follow global standards and way of work.
Build templates, processes & structures to enable a Hub & Spoke Model in the Hurtigruten Matrix Organization.
Superuser on Contentful/EPI CMS
Participate in agile teams/projects/chapter
Manage the planning, developing, delivery, and governance of clear, relevant webpage content that brings together business goals/market goals and user needs (e.g., text, images, graphics, video, metadata etc.), including regularly refreshing website proof points, image banners, story sliders, and more
Responsible for keeping the web up to date, accurate and relevant. Must be both proactive and responsive to requests
Help develop and execute web content strategies in alignment with the HRX/HRN brand and initiatives, with minimal direction
Review and edit content provided by and requested by HRX/HRN stakeholders for strategic appropriateness, proper grammar, punctuation, clarity, readability, consistency, tone, and voice across all web experiences.
Responsible for product launches in cooperation with product launch value stream.
Contribute to content discussions and optimization
Contribute to digital outreach communications strategy, including email
Contribute to digital marketing strategy discussions/decisions
Use Google Analytics to track and report on website performance
Conduct QA testing and website audits
Use SiteImprove (or similar tool) to address accessibility and quality control
Provide training and act as a resource for department web editors and publishers
Manage website and project requests track progress, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor in IT, Business, Financial or Marketing
3+ year as webmaster/web editor
3+year of CMS experience (EPI-server/Contentful is preferred)
3+ year of experience from Google Analytics
Eye for web communication – Excellent copywriting and UX writing skills
Understanding of other digital/performance marketing channels including email, paid search, programmatic and paid social
Basic graphic design and experience using Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous
Must be fluent in English
