About the role
As a UX or Senior UX designer, you will play a central role in shaping the software on our devices and securing the best user experience for all our customers. In addition, you will improve our existing products and services and explore and develop new ones. Your tasks will range from exploration, early concept work, development of new features, design of the experience between hardware and software, and participation in projects in other areas of the organization.
As a senior UX or Senior designer at reMarkable, there is a great opportunity to influence both product development, and last but not least - you have a great opportunity to influence your role and everyday life.
Who you are
You are a UX designer with experience and expertise in design for digital services, in acting as the users advocate, and in leading cross-functional teams in creative processes. Your “home” at reMarkable will be in the UX design team in the Design department. Experience with concept development for physical products combined with software, service design, or tangible interaction is considered an advantage.
These are some characteristics we are looking for in the new UX designer:
- Have more than three years of higher education, three years of experience, and consider yourself a professional with deep knowledge of the UX design field of study.
- You are skilled and confident when it comes to the subject of UX - be it the design, process, or role.
- You thrive in the role of leading creative processes and including multidisciplinary participants in the process.
- You enjoy making intuitive solutions with a clear sender.
As a person, we hope you:
- Are proactive, self-going, and take responsibility where needed.
- You have the ability to lead others in a team.
- Have good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral.
- Are sociable and like hanging out with your colleagues.
