For social robots, the time is now: they are no longer 'science fiction'. All over the world - in universities and research labs as well as in schools, hospitals, airports, shops, offices, hotels, and more - social robots are being explored and deployed today to help people lead better lives, support employees, delight customers, and add value to businesses as well as new insights to researchers. Humans are entering a new era where talking to machines, and interacting with them in our most natural ways (as if they were a person) is becoming 'normal'. But it's still early days in this revolution. The rules are still being written, and the road ahead is wide open. Furhat Robotics has established itself as a global leader in telling the story of social robotics, and this is where you come in.

We are looking for content marketer and storyteller to join our marketing team, and be the front runner of bringing the message of social robotics to the market. We think you will do this through a mix of amazing copy-writing and the creation of new creative concepts and campaigns, that can be used in everything from social media to newsletters and websites.

You will be part of our small and experienced marketing team, with great opportunities to grow for the right candidate. With offices in Stockholm and Boulder, US, you will be part of a diverse and international company characterized by a friendly, ambitious culture. Your work will cover both our robots, Furhat and Misty, and their corresponding brands.

As the Content Marketer & Storyteller, you will:

  • Be responsible for setting the content strategy and editorial calendars, including copywriting and overall messaging and content creation across all marketing campaigns
  • Track the performance of marketing campaigns, and continuously work to improve and increase performance
  • Use your copywriting skills to engage our community through e.g. newsletters, brochures and websites, and also create content for our community channels
  • Drive the work to create new image and video content
  • Work with our Brand Specialist with easier design tasks, and work together to establish Furhat's and Misty's tone of voice and key messaging in the market throughout all content
  • Collaborate with the team to strategize on quarterly campaigns and marketing initiatives, including our bi-yearly Furhat Conference

Skills & Requirements

To be an ideal candidate, you must have:

  • +1 years experience in content creation and marketing
  • A passion for storytelling and communication, and highly enjoy copy-writing
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

  • Strong collaboration abilities with an international team

  • Experience in photography and videography, preferably with video editing experience

  • Willingness to work in a fast paced and often changing environment

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Hands-on mindset, with the passion to do things yourself, from posting to social media, to filming at internal and external events, to learning a new tool very quickly to solve a problem

  • Experience in modern digital marketing tools, with focus on Twitter and Linkedin

  • Minimum BSc in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field

It would be great if you also have:

  • Native/bilingual proficiency in English
  • Experience in marketing to academic and research audience
  • Previous experience working with startups
  • Experience working with robots or conversational systems
  • Built your own website and sold products online

  • An active social media presence and are a content creator yourself
