Job Description

We are now looking for a

Project Manager

to our Nordic Professional Services organization!

As a Project Manager, you´ll take ownership of various sizes of customer implementation projects in the Basware Network and/or Purchase to Pay Business Area. You will follow and manage that the agreed scope will be delivered on time and on budget. As a Project Manager you may manage several projects at the same time. The project team consists of Basware’s own people and/or Basware’s partners’ resources. Some traveling may be required.

In this role, you will be responsible for documenting project management plans and scope statements. You will lead several medium to large-size customer projects, concurrently, while managing matrix-based team resources locally and globally. You will contribute to improving Basware Project Management Methodology, Standards and Processes as well as Analyze customers’ business processes and conduct scope workshops to meet customer business requirements to match with Basware offering. You will also participate in Pre-Sales, post consulting and customer care services.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Reporting and project tracking
  • Customer order and contract management
  • Quality management
  • Resource management
  • Risk and issue management
  • Project scope and budget management
  • Proposal development and some presales work
  • Customer Relationship / Stakeholder management
  • Delivering projects in accordance with Basware’s project methodology
Skills & Requirements

We are looking for a professional with

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working as a Project Manager or Subject matter expert in customer-facing implementation projects
  • Delivery experience in a similar (ERP or P2P) enterprise solution or from the IT industry
  • IT service or software project implementation experience with external customers
  • Proven experience in making fast decisions in a quickly changing environment
  • Some Risk and Change management experience
  • Relevant business/solution/industry experience
  • Proposal generation and solution scoping experience

To thrive and succeed in this role we also expect you to have:

  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Consulting attitude, problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • PMP/PRINCE II /ITIL or any similar process or Project Management qualification is seen as a good merit
  • Knowledge and experience with procurement and/or invoicing systems is a good advantage
  • Fluent Swedish/Norwegian and English language skills are required
