Elite Prospects (EP) is a world-leading online hockey destination and we’re on the path of becoming the #1 hockey dream factory and social information hub, online. Elite Prospects aims to connect, engage and supply data and insights to active players, casual & hardcore fans, and the professional hockey community.

EP is growing and we are looking to further accelerate our growth by adding a new rockstar marketeer to our team. Our marketing team is in need of an experienced Growth Marketer that will be managing all aspects of EP’s marketing automation, sales funnel, and campaign management.

Role & responsibilities

  • You will be part of a team striving to create the best customer experience, marketing automation communication, flows & campaigns.

  • You will be working with our full marketing funnel focusing on onboarding new free members and paying subscribers for EP, as well as designing ways to win back churned subscribers. Every stage of our funnel is in need of its own strategy and our communication needs to attract defined personas and target groups. Your main tool will be direct communication channels such as e-mail as well as on site activations. You will also be working with our paid advertising strategies and tactics. These include influencer marketing, paid search and content marketing.

  • Own all aspects of campaign set up and execution, troubleshooting, and reporting, with a sustained focus on scalability.

  • Manage day-to-day campaign metrics and actively monitor campaign KPIs.

  • Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses to recommend and execute updates to creative and copy to identify replicable marketing tactics and channels.

  • You will serve as a key stakeholder and select the best software and toolkits that can help us achieve our KPIs. These include tools that help manage automated flows, data collection, analysis, personalization, and campaign execution.

  • You will be positioned in our marketing team and will be reporting to our Head of Marketing, but you will also be working closely with our Product Owner and the entire EP team, including management.

What do we expect from you?

  • You’ll need a doer attitude, be a great team player and you need to set high standards and goals for yourself.

  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing automation, sales funnel, and campaign management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish is a bonus but not required.

  • Min. 3 years of experience in the end-to-end implementation of using marketing automation systems and tools. Hands-on experience working with Braze, Klaviyo or equivalent MA system is required.

  • A creative mind seeking new ways to engage our core audience. An analytical and logical perspective, with the ability to view a problem from different angles.

  • Strong audience awareness with an ability to adjust language accordingly.

  • If you happen to be a hockey fan - that would be awesome and a big plus!
