The Site Logistics function is of high importance in the Supply Chain Organisation and key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy.

As a Site Logistics Manager, your main objective is to coordinate everything that is delivered, needs to be moved and stored across our 1,5 million m2 site in Skellefteå. You will act as a control tower, overseeing multiple flows of goods, machines, vehicles, and people. Your main stakeholders will be multi-disciplinary functions within Northvolt, including but not limited to, Logistics, Planning, Construction, Programme office. In these teams, there

Key Responsibilities:

Together with the wider Supply Chain Team, with primary focus on QHSSE, in your job you will:

  • Build a total site logistics control tower function
  • Plan and execute and/or co-ordinate multiple activities including but not limited to:
    • Construction logistics (construction materials and equipment)
    • Project logistics (transport, handling and storage of process equipment)
    • Logistics for manufacturing (materials in, finished goods out)
    • Office logistics (parcels / packages / office and IT equipment)
    • MRO logistics
    • People logistics and site public transport
    • Waste materials logistics
    • Ancillary services e.g. snow ploughing and road maintenance
  • Design, implement and oversee on-site / off-site container / trailer yard operation as well as local haulier
  • Temporary services

Skills & Requirements

Qualification & Experience

  • Experience in QHSSE
  • A track record of management / logistics in large preferably construction projects and / or programme management / project control with focus on budget and schedule
  • Ability to convince stakeholders and to communicate decisions in an effective way considering the situation
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English. Swedish and Baltic / Slavic language(s) a strong plus
  • Driver’s licence
  • Good IT literacy: ERP functions like Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Delivery Notification etc., Microsoft Office
