Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Technical Project Manager - Digitalization to join our team in Västerås.

We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of the Labs IT & Digitalization team in Västerås, working with the latest technology to enable the future of energy!

As a Technical Project Manager you will be working closely with the various stakeholders and end-users in Labs as well as with the central IT & Digitalization teams. You will be working to ensure requirements are clearly understood by both the business and the development teams. The work also includes leading the way towards new software releases and features to further develop our capabilities in production and surrounding systems.

The Technical Project Manager - Digitalization will be in charge of ensuring efficient and easy to use IT and digital solutions for operations at Northvolt Labs and ensuring we are focusing on delivering value to our organization.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead coordination between software team and various departments through ensuring visibility and feedback from team-members and other stakeholders within and outside the company.
  • Plan and execute software & automation development projects through defining deliverables and planning roadmaps
  • Develop strategic solutions to problems and business cases arising throughout the company
  • Define project requirements and quantify project impact

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial engineering or equivalent experience
  • + 1 year experience working with project management
  • Excellent English written and oral skills

  • Ability to take decisions even in face of uncertainty

  • Challenges solutions and ideas

  • Very good team player, contributes with passion and energy
  • High level of grit and morale
  • Delivers on expectations and promises

Bonus points for:

  • Experience from working in and being knowledgeable about systems such as ERP, MES or PLM
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, Korean, German)
