Overall Responsibilities

The Sales Director is responsible for managing new sales, account-based management and partnership opportunity activities across our Global Strategic target accounts, ensuring consistent and rapid growth in revenues across all channels.
All Sales Executives are responsible for selling the nShift products and services to new and existing customers, with a drive to achieve business revenue quotas within an assigned sales territory and/or segment.
This will be accomplished by contributing and executing a well-rounded sales engagement strategy including targeting, prospecting, following-up on inbound and partner lead opportunities whilst applying a customer-centric approach to sale’s and account-based-selling.

Skills & Requirements

The area of responsibility include

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with key decision makers within the prospects organisations; recommending the right solutions for the desired outcomes. This could be virtually or through face to face customer visits.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending improvements.
  • Identify and feedback product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, competitors and account feedback.
  • Prepares reports by analysing, and summarizing information on pipeline health and forecasts. Understand and apply what’s needed to succeed.
  • Drive the sales process through targeting opportunities, prospecting, identifying and qualifying solution matches, conducting software demonstrations, and closing deals aligned to the company standard agreements.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending internal educational sessions.
  • Build brand awareness and lead generation at key trade conferences, LinkedIn and through networking within the industry.
  • Ensure all activities are recorded within the company CRM system provided accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across assigned territory and/or segment to achieve new business revenue growth, qualifying out non-starters, so one’s time is used effectively.
  • Working closely with pre-sales, marketing, and professional services to ensure customer satisfaction is at the highest level.

Required professional qualifications

  • Proven commercial and business acumen, skills to develop business through outbound and inbound opportunities.
  • Experience in identifying, qualifying and prioritizing business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong relationship management and networking abilities on different organizational levels, and interest to nurture and expand ones pipeline.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute various activities and focus areas to maximize growth.

  • University degree educated or equivalent education are an advantage.
  • Experience within SaaS, Ecommerce, Logistics or Carrier Networks are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise opportunities with ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles and relate/sell to Senior Executives.
  • Flexible mindset and can-do attitude: Willingness to adapt to customer and organizational needs.
