You, as a cell design engineer, will join our passionate and fast-growing Cylindrical Cell Design team in Västerås, Sweden. In joining us, you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European Battery Factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The purpose of this role is to support and coordinate all the battery cell design processes which include experiments and the relevant documentation. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best experts in the lithium-ion battery field from all corners of the globe and grow together with us in this exciting journey to contribute to a greener future!
You will participate in a variety of initiatives that are already in motion among colleagues as well as work on own projects - we promise, it won't get boring!
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support internal and external design reviews and structural analysis area as well as include your findings to create better products
Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between customers and Northvolt's internal stakeholders
Documentation and preparation for battery cell manufacturing such as work order, semi-product specification, and product specification etc
Validation data collection and analysis
