As a Head of Engagement , you will lead the Denmark Engagement team and the in-country engagement operations. This is a fixed-term position to replace parental leave absence.
In this role you will be part of Denmark’s consulting management team together with Country Manager and Head of Sales. You will be in charge of the revenue forecasting in the country, and you will work closely with the management team and service leads to resolve capacity challenges, prioritization, and oversee the schedule of the projects.
As a line manger for the Denmark Engagement team, you are responsible of the overall well-being of the team and the allocation of work. You will be coaching and mentoring the team members and making sure that they have the tools to succeed in the role. In this role, you will also work closely with clients yourself to ensure that our strategic clients are managed efficiently.
We are looking for someone who has experience with managing a team and influencing internal and external stakeholders. You need to be able to understand business fundamentals of consulting business and take in consideration the objectives and motives of different teams. We encourage individuals to put forward innovative ideas on how we can work smarter and provide a better experience for our clients. This role is one that requires initiative, you are making important business decisions daily and need to be self-motivated escalating as required. You are required to interface internally and externally at executive level with all business areas and particularly work in close partnership with local consulting and sales teams.
Coaching and mentoring of the team
Objectives setting and performance review. Ensure team OKRs are aligned with business OKRs
Responsible for team well-being in general
Team capacity and resource planning, drives recruitment of new team members as required
Drives continuous improvement
Account allocation within the team
Understand ongoing sales opportunities and delivery challenges / priorities associated to them
Regularly reviews the overall schedule to ensure projects are scheduled smartly and consultants’ utilization levels are healthy
Works closely with Denmark Head of Sales, Country Manager and service leads to anticipate and resolve capacity challenges (e.g. establish priorities for delivery, shortage of consultants in specific areas, discuss training priorities)
Ensure data hygiene and accuracy in internal reporting/scheduling system
Acts as an escalation point for scheduling conflicts
Client delivery work:
Owning client relationship of named accounts. Working alongside sales team to understand account strategy of strategic accounts. Proactively manage the client relationship and ensure that work is smartly scheduled
Handling all new client requests, scheduling, delivering projects and seeing through completion. In close cooperation with the global engagement team

What are we looking for?
Previous experience in team management, preferably in context of managing teams that have been customer facing and have managed client portfolios
Previous experience in managing B2B accounts and good track record in facilitating account growth
Confident at making important decisions on a daily basis
Professional approach to all aspects of their role both internally and to clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good project co-ordination skills, an advanced qualification such as Prince2 or Agile would be beneficial but not essential.
Ability to influence key stakeholders (c-level)
Able to identify and resolve issues of potential conflict, both internal and external to the company during the service delivery process and instigate mitigation for future conflicts
Understanding of Information Security and ability to communicate to clients a commercial understanding of their security and business obligations is beneficial
Swedish language beneficial
